WebInno Quick History and Goals
Welcome to the Web Innovators Group (WebInno) blog.
The group started informally in the fall of 2005 with a few entrepreneurs and other creative web thinkers gathering in Cambridge to share their ideas. It quickly grew a slightly more structured recurring event with presentations from self-funded startups followed by a general networking session.
As the attendance to the events has increased, it appeared that it would be beneficial to have a centralized website to coordinate information about the group itself and communication about upcoming events.
My hope is to continue organizing these meetings, with the help of others in the community, as a venue for web and mobile innovators in the Boston area to share and exchange their ideas.
