September 25th Web Innovators Group Demonstrators

September 20th, 2006 Comments(0)

The next WebInno meeting is less than one week away, and I am happy to announce our line-up of early-stage startups which are presenting at the event.

We have three “Main Dish” companies, each will give a five minute demos of their service to the crowd at 7pm:

I am excited for this event in particular, as our first two presenters (The Echo Nest and Fat Calico) will be revealing a “sneak peak” of their services to the group, and the reception of Traineo since its recent launch has been very positive.

We are still open to additional “Side Dish” presenters, so if you are interested, please contact me (david at webinnovatorsgroup dot com).

It appears we will have a nice crowd for the presenters to exhibit to and seek feedback – so far we have around ninety people RSVP’ed on our event wiki: http://webinnovatorsgroup.com/wiki/webinno8.  (Please add your name to it if you plan to join, so we procure the appropriate-sized room.)  I am looking forward to the demos and seeing everyone at the Royal Sonesta in Cambridge on Monday September 25th at 6:30pm.

Announcing WebInno8: Sept 25th at Royal Sonesta

Despite the fact that the most recent WebInno event was held during the summer, we had our largest turnout yet at that session. I am excited to reconvene with the community here after Labor Day to hear what everyone has been up to since. The next next WebInno event will be:

Boston Web Innovators Group
September 25th at 6:30pm
Royal Sonesta Hotel Cambridge

As usual, the event will start with company demonstrations at 7pm, followed by a few hours of networking and informal mixing. We will have early-stage startups give both “main dish” demos (five minute presentations to the entire crowd) and “side dish” demos (walk-throughs to small groups from tables set up on the periphery of the room during the schmoozing session).

The presentation slots are currently open, so if you are interested in presenting in either forum and fit the profile, please contact me at david at webinnovatorsgroup dot com.

As a reminder, the event is always free of charge and open to all who are interested in web and mobile innovation. If you plan to attend, I would appreciate it if you would RSVP on our event wiki page so we can book the appropriate sized room at the venue.

See you in three weeks.
