Nov 29th WebInno Startup Demonstrators

November 21st, 2006 Comments(0)

Just a few days after the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, we’re holding the next Web Innovators Group gathering on Wednesday November 29th.  I am excited that we already have a great line-up of early-stage startups which are presenting at the event.

First, we currently have two “Main Dish” companies, who will each give a five minute demos of their service to the entire crowd at 7pm:

Second, we have five “Side Dish” companies, who will be giving informal demos during the socializing portion following the structured presentations:

It appears that there’s a sizeable crowd forming for the presenters to exhibit to and seek feedback from, as we have over a hundred people RSVP’ed on our event wiki: http://webinnovatorsgroup.com/wiki/webinno9.  (If you are joining us and haven’t already RVPD’ed, please add your name to the wiki so we book the appropriate-sized room.)

See you at the Royal Sonesta in Cambridge on Wednesday November 29th at 6:30pm.

WebInno is continuing to emerge as a key event in Boston for web and mobile innovators to connect with other entrepreneurs, visionaries, and creative thinkers in the space.  I am excited to announce that the next one will be held later this month:

Boston Web Innovators Group
November 29th at 6:30pm
Royal Sonesta Hotel Cambridge

We are going to follow the usual format of starting with company demonstrations at 7pm, followed by a couple hours of networking and informal mixing.  Early-stage startups will give both “main dish” demos (five minute presentations to the entire crowd) and “side dish” demos (walk-throughs to small groups from tables set up on the periphery of the room during the schmoozing session).  If your startup is interested in presenting in either forum and fits the profile, please contact me at david at webinnovatorsgroup dot com.  Keep in mind that I am often flooded with last-minute submissions, so the earlier you apply the better.

As a reminder, the event is always free of charge and open to all who are interested in web and mobile innovation. If you plan to attend, I would appreciate it if you would RSVP on our event wiki page so we can book the appropriate sized room at the venue.

Looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks.
