January 30th Web Innovators Group
The consistent comment I heard throughout the evening at last Wednesday’s WebInno event was, “This is great – when is the next one?” So without any delay, one week later I’ve organized the next gathering, to be held next month:
Boston Web Innovators Group
Tuesday January 30th at 6:30pm
Royal Sonesta Hotel Cambridge
To start, we are going to continue the usual format of company demonstrations at 7pm, followed by a couple hours of networking and informal mixing. However, I may incorporate a couple new elements into the program based on your feedback – look for a blog post in the next couple weeks. But we’ll remain consistent in having early-stage startups giving both “main dish” demos (five minute presentations to the entire crowd) and “side dish” demos (walk-throughs to small groups from tables set up on the periphery of the room during the schmoozing session).
As always, if your startup is interested in presenting in either forum and fits the profile, please contact me at david at webinnovatorsgroup dot com. (By the way, the earlier you apply the better, but please be patient as I sort through the applications).
As a reminder, the event is always free of charge and open to all who are interested in web and mobile innovation. If you plan to attend, I would appreciate it if you would RSVP on our event wiki page sooner rather than later, so we can book the appropriate sized room at the venue. We’re quickly growing, and I want to ensure that we have enough space to accommodate.
As the Web Innovators Group has turned the ripe age of one year old last month, it’s been nice to reflect on what you’ve helped build during that timeframe. I am looking forward to continuing that momentum and excitement with you as we head into 2007.
