Two Other Upcoming Events: MIT EF “Brave New Web” and Boston PHP User Group “Venture Capital 101″
A quick announcement to the WebInno community – there are two events next week in which I am highly involved that may interest you:
MIT Enterprise Forum “Brave New Web” Conference on February 7th at the Colonnade Hotel in Boston. I am co-chairing the committee organizing the event, and we’re focusing the conference’s content with sessions on how the web is dramatically changing the way that people and communities communicate, contribute, and collaborate. Jeremy Allaire (Brightcove) and John Furrier (PodTech) are keynoting, and we have a great lineup of other speakers. Boston PHP February User Group Meeting: Venture Capital 101, also on February 7th, held at 6:30pm. A panelist of venture capitalists (including myself) will talk about the basics and a number of trends in the VC industry. Should be a lively and productive discussion. Details here.
