WebInno10 Recap and the Next Event March 28th

Posted: February 01st, 2007

Tuesday night’s tenth Web Innovators Group meeting was another resounding success. We booked a bigger room than past events, and we filled it to capacity with about 250 people. More importantly, both the main dishes and side dishes were well received by the crowd. A few snapshots of posts from across the blogosphere speak for themselves:

“Web Innovation is Alive and Kickin’ in Boston… WebInno aims to support Boston-area entrepreneurs, visionaries and creative thinkers in Internet and mobile innovation by holding events that foster community interaction… David has created a fun format.” — Barb Heffner

“We had a fantastic night last night at the Boston Web Innovators Group. Thank you to all of the people who kept Aron and me busy all night sharing their energy, enthusiasm, and ideas.” — Matthew Bellantoni

“Last night’s WebInno was great. There were some cool companies presenting and some interesting side dishes as well.” — Greg Peverill-Conti

“Last night’s WebInno10 held at the Royal Sonesta hotel in Cambridge, MA, brought out well over 200 people creating a level of excitement and energy not often found with other networking events. If you’re an entrepreneur, investor, or developer this is the event for you… whatever you do, make sure to stop by for the next one - you won’t be disappointed.” — Mark Doerschlag

“WebInno is really the only one of its kind here [in Boston]. I don’t know if there were other events like this in years past, but man oh man, this was long overdue! The crowd was largely made up of local techies… Hipsters young and older, big thinkers, new entrepreneurs, veteran entrepreneurs… I definitely plan to keep attending these events.” — Ben Saren

As I mentioned that evening, the next event will be held on Wednesday March 28th. The location is still to-be-determined as we figure out a space which will adequately accommodate. Please look for updated details and RVSP on our wiki page if you are going to attend so we can book the appropriately sized room: http://webinnovatorsgroup.com/wiki/webinno11.

And as always, if you are interested in demo’ing as a main or side dish, please reach out to me at david at webinnovatorsgroup dot com.
