Demonstrators for March 28th WebInno

Posted: March 13th, 2007

We’re two weeks away from the next Web Innovators Group event on March 28th.  As with several recent previous sessions, we’re holding it at the Royal Sonesta in Cambridge.  The gathering continues to draw a nice crowd, which provides great exposure and feedback for our demonstrating companies, as well as giving attendees networking opportunities with a mix of techies, entrepreneurs, investors, and operators.

Following our usual format, we will start the evening with three main dish companies, each of which will give a six minute demos of their service to the entire crowd at 7pm.  However, as an added element for this occasion, all of the main dish companies follow a single theme – internet applications with rich media interfaces.  We have three companies which are utilizing rich web media technologies to provide a unique offering for creating word processing documents, greeting cards, and home remodeling designs, respectively.  While each startup offers an entirely different app, it will be interesting to note the commonalities among them.  Accordingly, the main dish presenters are as follows:

Our side dish demonstrators will set up around the periphery of the room after the main presentations, and will showcase a cross section of early stage web companies in the greater Boston area.  They range from a couple sneak previews of to-be-launched beta sites to services which have been growing for more than a year:

All who are interested in web and mobile innovation are encouraged to attend the free event.  Please RSVP on the wiki (http://webinnovatorsgroup.com/wiki/webinno11) if you plan to join us so we can book the appropriate size room, print name tags, etc.

Looking forward to seeing everyone in a few weeks.
