Updated WebInno Website – Including Free Job Board

July 23, 2007 | no comments

As of this past weekend, we launched a new live version of the Web Innovators Group website.  Besides a fresh updated look and feel to it, there are two new feature sets which should be helpful for the WebInno community.

First, the free-form wiki for managing the registration for events has been replaced with a more sophisticated dedicated application.  Now it should be more user-friendly to sign up for an event and people won’t run into issues with the wiki being locked up with heavy traffic.

Second and more importantly, we have now added a free job board to the WebInno site.  This page is aimed to become a central location for web and mobile jobs (especially at startups) in the greater Boston area.  Posting is absolutely free for anyone hoping to promote an open role at their company.  The goal is facilitate connections for those who are looking for roles with those who have positions available.  It’s applicable for any situation – all the way from founders looking to find another co-founder to established companies seeking to hire for a specific position.  Starting today, if you have an open rec you’d like to fill, don’t hesitate to create a new listing for the Web Innovators Group Job Board.

Finally, I’d like to extend a huge thank you to Chris Corriveau of Genevate and Greg Arnette of Sonian Networks for generously donating their time to create the new WebInno website.  I really appreciate their help, and their contribution to the Web Innovators Group should be widely recognized.  Thanks, Chris and Greg.
