The greatest benefit might also be the fact that the nibblers get to introduce themselves to the crowd resulting in a healthy social exercise. I must say that this whole nibbling thing makes me think of those pesky black flies that love to nibble on ankles when one is basking in the sun/by the lake in high summer!
