Last month’s WebInno19 was a great event.  Both Limeduck and The Bostonist blogs wrote solid summaries of the evening, with the latter including an interview with the Audience Choice award winner Prasad Thammineni of Pixily.  Over at the @Bar blog, they’ve posted videos of the two other main dish presentations, Givvy and Brring.

With that, I am happy to announce that I’ve just opened up the registration for our next WebInno event to be held on December 9, 2008.  As has become customary, WebInno20 will be held at 6:30pm that evening at the Royal Sonesta in Cambridge.

We’ll begin with our usual format of self-/angel-funded startups demo’ing to the crowd in Main Dish and Side Dish showcases, and select an “Audience Choice” winner of the crowd’s favorite.  In addition, we’re adding a special break-out session to the event.  We’ve been hearing feedback about including additional practical content to the program that’s useful to the community – and we’re listening.  Given this demand, December’s program will include an optional interactive dialog session with James Geshwiler, Managing Director of the Common Angels, entitled “Raising Angel Financing 101.”  Depending on interest, this strictly optional break-out will be held in a separate room following the primary presentation.

So mark WebInno20 on your calendars now – and please register in advance on our dedicated registration page to help us anticipate the crowd-size, print name tags, and gauge interest in the special break-out session.  If your early-stage startup is interested in presenting in either manner that evening, just reach out to me at david at webinnovatorsgroup dot com. Please include the name of your company/site/product, a brief overview and description, and a link to a live site or password-protected beta demo site. I’ll likely make final decisions and post selections mid-November, but the sooner you share a heads up the better, as I am beginning to prioritization process already.
