New Year, New Look, New Content

Since the Web Innovators Group started back in 2005 there have been a number of changes designed to support the innovation community here in New England, and as we head into 2012 that will continue. You’ve seen the new site which will make it easier to keep up with what’s happening, but there’s also the reintroduction of the “WebInno Supper Club” series – which will bring together smaller groups interested in specific topics; stepped up activities on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn; and finally a broader spectrum of blog topics. Here are a couple of the topics we’ll be sharing over the coming weeks and months:

• Main Dish Updates – nearly 100 companies have appeared on stage since WebInno kicked off at the Tavern in the Square/Central seven years ago. Every month or so we’ll catch up with one of our Main Dish alums to see what’s happening.

• Side Dish Updates – there have been a lot of side dishes over the years. Some of them have gone on to become really successful companies. We’ll check in with some of these alums as well.

• Ask an Innovator – whether they’ve been Main Dish or Side Dish founders, WebInno has been fortunate to have provided a stage for some of the most innovative entrepreneurs around. We’ll be sharing your questions with our alums and posting their answers here.

• A Few Surprises – we’re not going to tell you everything that’s in store for 2012, but rest assured, we’ll have some additional content you’re going to love.

WebInno33 is set for March 5th. As we get closer we’ll be sharing details on the participating companies. Be sure to register and join us for the first event of the year.
