Looking Back and Ahead: WebInnoMobile, Supper Club, 2012... and 2013

Whew!  The Web Innovators Group had quite a 2012, which was capped off last week by probably our largest event to date, #WebInnoMobile.  In conjunction with Mobile Monday, we held an event which highlighted some of the coolest new mobile-first companies in the Boston area.  Congratulations to Directr on winning the Audience Choice award.  A few people covered the event in the blogs, including GregPC and newest sponsor Profitbricks.

Mark your calendars now, the next large group Web Innovators Group event in 2013 is going to be held on Monday February 25th.  I'll post a new registration page and update the remainder of the site sometime just after the new year.

Also recently we held the latest installment of the WebInno SupperClub series.  As a reminder, these are small-group dinner gatherings focused around a specific topic area.  The one a few weeks ago was focused on the topic of "Gamification" and was sponsored by our friends at T3 Advisors.  We had quite a bit of interest in the event, so our attendee-list was larger than usual:

So in wrapping up 2012 looking to 2013, I am proud that the Web Innovators Group continues to be a rich and vibrant community.  Between our large events and our small, I am excited that we're entering a new year continuing to help connect those who are interested in web and mobile innovation.
